Some days just feel like a little much. I think we’ve all been there. This poem has helped me orient myself a bit in moments of frustration.
at the world
for not being Eden
at myself
for not being Eve
yet in Eden, too, there was a serpent
and Eve fell just like me
at God, then,
for the world not yet being
as I want it to be
for Him being too patient
with you, with me
