I am pleased to announce that Solid Food Press has just released my new poem “Cain.” As you can see in the bio I’ve written there, this two-part poem was written as part of a larger project I’ve been working on for the last couple of years, which is a book-length creative retelling of the biblical story of Genesis. In the book, this poem will actually appear as two separate pieces, “Cain” and “Marked Wanderer,” and will be embellished with beautiful artwork by Kendra Bell!
